SNICKERS

Dear Dr. Ellinger,
Please feel free to post this on your website. We are grateful and want to thank you for helping us through a very difficult time. Through your words and actions, it was abundantly clear you cared about us and our dear baby dog. Snickers’ last weeks were not easy for her, but with your help and compassion she passed comfortably and peacefully surrounded by loved ones.
With our sincerest gratitude,
the Livecchi Family

Kona, from Perkasie.  He was only 11 years old when he died of a rare form of cancer.  So unfair.  He was a beloved companion, a true class clown.  He will be missed.

Dear Dr. Ellinger,Thank you for all that you so compassionately and skillfully did for Charlee and me yesterday afternoon.  You eased her way out of this life and put an end to her suffering.I am so grateful.Ellen McPeake

Gingerbread

Dear Dr. Ellinger,

We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping our sweet Gingerbread gently take her final rest. I can’t tell you what it meant to us to have her leave us so peacefully in one of her favorite spots in her yard. You are truly an angel of mercy. This photo is when we first rescued her. Who rescued who I may ask?

With our sincerest gratitude,

The Mercadente’s

TEDDY

Hello, Dr. Ellinger,

Saying goodbye to Teddy was one of the hardest things we have had to do. Thank you for the opportunity to hold Teddy and be with him in his home as he left this earthly life. Your kindness and compassion will never be forgotten. Still heartbroken; but as it has been said, Grief is the price of love. We wanted to share some photos of Teddy when he was healthy and happy. How we miss him.

Sincere,

Kim and Erik

Good afternoon DR,

I am writing to thank you for the absolutely wonderful way that you put down our girl Star. A few hours before you arrived, she went onto her bed, and it was obvious she was not getting back up – she could not, and she knew it. When you arrived her tail was going crazy, she welcomed you and knew you were there to take away her pain. She died so peacefully, like an angel. As you carried her out of the house, it was just like she was sleeping, with her headon the pillow and covered with the doggie blanket. Also, allowing Nate (red Doberman) to see her after she died was very helpful. We are so grateful and just wanted you to know.

Thank you,

John,Darcy,Breanna and Dana Terman

I am adding my own dog to this memorial page because Charlie was my “heart dog”. I have never loved a dog as much as him and doubt I ever will again. He suffered from DM, a degenerative paralytic disease similar to Lou Gehrig’s disease (ALS). I euthanized him on my birthday, in May, 2020, when he could no longer play with his ball or go for walks. He was the most loyal, smart, fun, kind and gentle dog ever. I still miss him every day. Dr Deb Ellinger
